Scottish Widows have two showcase pages, an main page and one highlighting their critical illness proposition. We explore their Life and Critical illness proposition with important detail on their new Clinic in a Pocket app, Price Lock promise, a focus on their inclusive underwriting approach for conditions like mental health and their approach to paying claims. The critical illness page drills further into their clear an concise approach, looking at children’s cover and the Scottish Widows Care package for mental health, rehabilitation, second medical opinion and nutritional support.

Guardian

Our Guardian showcase pages examine their over proposition and focus deeper in their life and critical illness offering. The main LV= showcase examines their life, income protection and critical illness products, doctors services and their adviser and client support for Covid-19. Our main AIG showcase page provides an overview of their broad range of protection solutions, designed to provide options for a wide variety of client needs. The main Royal London showcase looks in depth at how they tailor cover to each clients need and their wide range of tools to support protection conversations and additional technical and business support. We also feature their Helping Hand service, recent developments to make sure the proceeds of a claim go to the right people along with a summary of claims statistics. The main Aviva page highlights Aviva’s menu proposition, which includes a range of protection solutions to cater for different client needs. Alongside the core products Aviva also offer a fracture cover benefit and their inique Global Treatment plan, designed to provide clients with access to overseas treatment for a range of serious medical conditions. The second Aviva page focuses on their DigiCare+ package of support benefits. This app based service provides a range of benefits and services, designed to support clients at any time in their live and help them manage their health and access additional services when needed.

Zurich

Our main Zurich showcase delves into their proposition examining their life, critical illness, income protection and business protection offer. We take a good look at fracture cover, support services and claims. The critical illness page takes a deeper look including enhanced payments, children’s support from birth to adult and how cover can be adapted as life changes. We also examine their adviser tools and support for your client conversations. For income protection we offer our analysis including IP solutions for all clients, adaptable cover, additional benefits when something bad happens and how Zurich help clients return to work through physical and mental health rehabilitation support and employer engagement.

The Exeter

Our showcase page on The Exeter examines their new Income First income protection plan, launched earlier in the year. The plan includes some new unique features which are detailed on the page. Adam Higgs

Adam leads Protection Guru's detailed protection research and benchmarking of both product and operation features provided by insurers and has a vast knowledge of the protection market. He has been instrumental in building the protection comparison service Quality Analyser and maintaining the data to enable adviser to quickly and easily compare protection products based on qualitative measures. He also works with adviser firms to help in panel reviews and with insurers to help them understand the shape of the market, their strengths and the areas that could be improved in their products. In his spare time and when not spending time with his wife and two children, Adam is a keen Arsenal fan and enjoys hacking his way around a golf course.
