Meet George Dunkley – Supporting the Delivery of Protection Guru Content

Hello,

It’s George here. I help manage the publishing and scheduling of content across Protection Guru.

For those of you who don’t know me, I joined FTRC as a Social Media Intern back in February this year, while studying Global Financial Planning at Coventry University. Alongside my studies, I’m also working towards achieving RQF Level 4 in Regulated Financial Planning through the CII.

I come from a financial advisory background, having grown up in the industry through my dad, who worked as a successful financial adviser for many years. I have seen first-hand the impact he made on clients, helping them protect their families, plan for the future and make confident financial decisions. This sparked my own passion for the profession. From an early age I understood the real value of good advice and the trust it builds, and that foundation has continued to shape my commitment to supporting advisers and promoting best practice across the industry today.

My role involves making sure our articles, insights, and resources reach you smoothly, keeping advisers up to date with everything happening across the protection space. I’m passionate about using social media and digital platforms to make our content more accessible and engaging for the adviser community.
