Less than 48 hours to go & supporting a worthy cause
It is less than 48 hours until the deadline for submissions to the Protection Guru Awards elapses, and the team are super excited to read about the fantastic work our industry does. There is however time for you to still enter if you haven’t yet.
The Protection Guru Awards aims to advisers and firms of all shapes and sizes (and business volumes). We want to hear from advisers and firms that are putting protection at the heart of what they do and can demonstrate the benefits they are providing to their customers. We look to recognise those that may not ordinarily be recognised but know that they are protecting their clients and spreading the word not just within the industry but to normal people on the street as well.
Are you a mortgage broker that ensures every possible mortgage is protected? Why not enter our “Best protection advice from a mortgage brokerage” award?
Have you built a new piece of tech or deployed solutions that are improving the way you engage with clients? Why not enter our “Best innovation from an advice firm” award?
Have you deployed training either yourself or within your firm that is improving protection conversations? Why not enter either our “Outstanding training & development leader” or “Best training initiative” award?
Have you supported a client through a complicated claim or built a team to support clients through claims? Why not enter one of our claims awards?
We have many different awards to recognise those that go above and beyond to insure the financial future of their clients and we want to hear from you. To view all the different awards take a look at the different categories below and get your entries in:
Elsewhere at Protection Guru, my colleague, Adam Higgs, is embarking on an incredible endeavor to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Adam has decided to participate in the “Longest Day of Golf!” on 16th June.
This challenging event involves Adam walking a marathon while carrying a set of golf clubs and playing four rounds of golf in one day.
Adam explains why he is participating in this event in his LinkedIn post below, and is committed to making a difference by raising funds for this worthy organisation. Any support you can offer, whether through a donation or spreading the word about his fundraising efforts, would be greatly appreciated.
Adam will be providing updates on the day through his Twitter account, giving you an opportunity to witness his journey and perhaps share a laugh or two along the way. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful impact in supporting those affected by cancer.
If you would like to support Adam and his team, the link to do so is below:

Hoping you all have a fantastic week!
