With just a week to go before our inaugural 2021 Protection Guru Awards, we bring you a round up of all of our shortlists. These awards are all about recognising the hard work and dedication of the protection industry, both advisers and insurers, over the last 18 months. We’ve had some fantastic entries, both from established advisers and firms and new entrants to the market who are making a big splash. For our insurer awards we deferred to the expertise and opinion of advisers, and the winners in this category have all been decided by adviser vote. We look forward to announcing the winners next week!
INDIVIDUAL ADVISER AWARD SHORTLISTS
With awards for best claims communication/case study, best use of social media, outstanding new protection adviser and best protection administrator/support staff, creating the shortlists for our individual adviser awards was not easy. We have had some amazing entries from a wide range of both well known and those that will no doubt go on to make a big splash in the industry.
ADVISER FIRM AWARD shortlists
Our adviser firm awards give recognition for newly formed advice firms, mortgage and wealth firms that are doing a great job of protecting their clients, best network, best support group and of course advce frim of the year. The competition is hot!
INSURER AWARDS shortlists
When creating our insurer awards we have attempted to be slightly different by rewarding insurers that excel at insuring different demographics of clients regardless of the benefit type. As such there are no “Best critical illness” or best “income protection” but instead “Best insurer for protecting families” and Best insurer for protecting self employed customers”. Uniquely, the winners have also been exclusively voted for by advisers.
PRESTIGE AWARDS shortlists
Protection Guru’s prestige awards are designed to recognise those that are going far beyond the call of duty in order to ensure that clients receive the best possible outcome. The awards include The above and beyond award, Outstanding performance in claims handling, Protection Guru’s doctors award, Outstanding protection adviser of the year and Dedication to protection. These are our headline awards where the focus (as all things should be) is on consumer outcomes and doing the right thing.
