Highlights from the Legal & General Business Quality Awards
The Legal and General Business Quality Awards 2023 took place last week at the fabulous Haberdashers’ Hall in London. The sun came out and shone on the very worthy shortlisted attendees. Brilliantly organised by Mike Pritchard and Liz Connor.
Huge congratulations go to all the deserved winners. Dale North, Managing Director from Pure Protect scooped up the award for ‘Best Customer Retention’ and Angela Davidson from Mortgage Intelligence was the proud recipient of the award for ‘Customer Excellence: Networks and Strategic Accounts’ to name but a few.
Stand out moments for me was the fantastic presentation from Nicola McKenzie – Co-Founder of Dunham McCarthy. An amazing guest speaker, taking the opportunity to discuss how technology has been seamlessly integrated into their business to enhance quality. Nicola illustrated the power of AI, and how this can be used to so effectively and efficiently alongside Advisers to create the most seamless journey for their customers. The business statistics are equally as impressive in terms of growth. Nicola and her colleagues were deservedly awarded for the second consecutive year ‘Protection written in Trust’ category. Many congratulations.
Dave Jones, Market Development Manager at L&G bravely spoke about his story in a heartfelt and emotional interview with Julie Godley and how he contracted cancer. How the love and support of his family, friends and colleagues at L&G helped him through a very difficult time and how this experience has put everything into perspective. Dave will retire in 6 weeks’ time so having the protection in place has enabled him to be able to know financially he can support his family. All the very best to you Dave for your next chapter, and thank you for sharing your brave story, and how you are very much on the road to recovery.
