This is a useful article but it would be good to see how this changes with Dual cover which has been introduced by Guardian and now Royal London?

Hi Stephen, perhaps I can direct you to this article which actually does refer to the dual life approach (https://protectionguru.co.uk/the-difference-between-life-and-ci-and-life-or-ci/). For life only, the Guardian dual life approach is essentially as this article would suggest (i.e. two single life plans), however where it is particularly beneficial is where critical illness is included as then there are essentially 4 plans (two single life policies and single single life CI policies).
