While it was a short week for everyone last week, Protection Guru announced a very important new contributor who has joined the team of external experts providing great content for our site. I have known Melanie Goodman of Trevisan Consulting for around a decade and during that time she has distinguished herself as one of the most insightful Social Media consultants in the Wealth Management industry, not just for the UK but around the world. Melanie will now be writing for us regularly and started her contributions last week, with The Protection Adviser’s guide to LinkedIn lead generation.

On a related theme Amanda Newman Smith explored The Art of Protection: How Advisers Can Transform Client Engagement with Smart Presentation and Matt Chapman explored Electronic Trusts arguing they have a key role in the future of Protection Advice.

Our own Jason Coleman wrapped up the week with a couple of key articles providing valuable insights for advisers, the first exploring  Why Only Assessing Critical Illness Plans for Quality & Value Fails FCA Consumer Duty Requirements – And How to Fix It and on Friday looking at The Role of NHS Waiting Times in Critical Illness Insurance.

Have a great week everyone!
