Happy New Year from Protection Guru
It’s the first working day of 2024 and we hope that you had a fantastic break and a very happy new year. I don’t know about you but I cannot eat or drink any more and am craving healthy food. At Protection Guru however, we are excited for the year ahead and have lots of ideas and plans for fantastic new content and tools to support advisers with their protection conversations.
January is set to be an exciting month. We still have a number of insurers who are yet to update their critical illness definitions in advance of the ABI minimum standards deadline. We also have a big insurer announcement in the later half of the month.
At Protection Guru we have been working hard to collate the types of claims statistics that will help you overcome common client objections. During January we will be releasing infographics that can be downloaded showing the best stats across insurers which can be used with clients or just as a document to support your client conversations.
It is also just 16 days until Protection Guru’s parent company (Finance & Technology Research Centre) holds it’s 5th annual Empowering Advice Through Technology conference. Over the last 5 years the event has gone from strength to strength and has become the go to event for advisers who want to understand not only how technology can help their business, but also the latest and greatest technology available to them. We will be there showcasing ProtectionGuruPro and if you are considering whether your current technology stack is the optimal solution it is a must attend!
