realize they can claim against corporation tax, however whilst paying employer ni for £5000 upwards not something they are thinking about.
can they not realize that this would take the strain off the welfare state, even if they had to allow the premium in a salary sacrifice or , alter the ssp benefit. anything is possible
the days of employee income protection needs a complete rethink for employees, and with it solving a major crisis, so everyone will have income coming in to meet their needs

Think this is spot on and should be considered for all- I think IPP tends to take more of a back seat with many employed clients as they have sick pay at work (unless they leave of course) and there is a conflict between whether to fully insure in addition to sick pay (but they may not be entitled to pay out) v not enough and gaps in cover (although could be covered by savings). What is average period if valid claim as a norm?
