LifeSearch Award winners and Ranking the Remote GP Plans, just another week in Protection
Last week the Protection Guru team attended the LifeSearch 25th anniversary awards in London. What an incredible event and so many deserved winners.
The biggest congratulations go to the team at LifeSearch for a fantastic 25 years to date. What an amazing impact you have had on the protection industry, and we know there is so much more to come. Tom Baigrie, Chairman of LifeSearch, reflected upon the last 25 years with a heart-warming speech, alluding that we all share one purpose to protect people against the financial consequence of physical or mental catastrophe.
It was a proud moment as Ian McKenna, collected a ‘Friends of LifeSearch’ award for the support he has provided to LifeSearch and we are looking forward to working more closely with the team in future.
Congratulations to Dominic Grinstead, MD of MetLife UK for picking up the ‘Protection Leader of the Year’ award. The ‘Lifesearch Hall of Fame’ welcomed Jeff Prestidge following his outstanding contribution to Protection journalism over the last 25 years.
Well done to Legal and General who were recognised as the ‘Outstanding Insurer’ in the ‘Hall of Fame’ and LV collected an array of awards for their support with LifeSearch—a huge congratulations to all the winners and those that were shortlisted.
In other news, a PGPro webinar demonstrating historical critical-illness comparisons took place last Tuesday. Several advisers are now enjoying a free trial of PGPro, and the feedback has been very positive.
