The complexity of critical illness wordings is such that these can really only be fully assessed by doctors, as no adviser would want to jeopardize a cleints ability to claim by replacing a plan with something that offers less protection than they currently enjoy. This opens the door for us to provide better quality reviews of in-force plans, all using one system, rather than having premium, quality and legacy plan information spread across multiple systems. Given the major enhancements to policy wording is in recent years this is a great extra benefit we can offer our clients to ensure they are paying for the best protection they can comfortably afford.

How Credit Deduction Works
  • When you create a new client and run their first analysis, one credit is used.
  • If the analysis is for a joint‑life case, one credit is deducted for each client at the point of their first analysis.
  • After that first analysis, each client remains active in our system for 30 days. Any further analyses you run for them during those 30 days (across all benefit types – e.g. Income Protection, Critical Illness, Life Cover), will not use any additional credits.
  • If no further analyses are run within those 30 days, the client(s) will automatically be removed from the system (in line with Providers’ quotes). If you later add them again and run a new analysis, this will count as a new client and another credit will be used.

    Example:

    You run an Income Protection analysis for Mrs Smith. At that point, 1 credit is deducted. You can now go on to run additional comparisons for Mrs Smith on:

  • Critical Illness

  • Life Cover

  • Mortgage Protection

  • Family Income Benefit … without using anymore credits.

    The credit only applies to the first analysis you run for each client.
