After a challenging 2020 we felt it was important to reward the hard work and professionalism of the protection industry, who have worked tirelessly during the pandemic to ensure that clients have the cover they need, and that products adapted to reflect changing requirements.

As such we created the Protection Guru Awards to celebrate the leading lights of the protection industry with recognistion to new entrants through to established names.

We aimed to differentiate our awards from others in the industry by including innovative categories:

• Recognising the growing use of social media to engage consumers with protection.
• Acknowledging advisers/advice firms who are new to the protection market.
• Celebrating firms who may not be protection specialists but still put protection at the heart of the advice they give
• Rewarding the insurers who offer the best propositions to suit different consumer needs.
