Income protection (Stable income)

The table below provides an overview of how we have rated each insurer’s Income Protection Insurance product overall and the individual underlying features that make up the overall rating. 

This year we have published two categories of income protection ratings – stable and variable income. The underlying features differ slightly in each category of rating. For the variable income category, upfront financial underwriting a greater weighting on the overall score.
