How do Aviva compare?
Counselling is provided via Workplace Options and provides clients with access to either face to face or telephone counselling sessions for a wide range of mental health issues 
Second Medical Opinions
In partnership with Best Doctors, Aviva provide clients with access to a worldwide panel of peer reviewed doctors that can provide specialist second medical opinions on any conditions. 
Global Treatment
Aviva’s Global treatment option in partnership with Best Doctors and Further Underwriting International will pay for the clients travel, accomodation, treatment and medication if the latest treatment is not available in the UK. This is provided at an additional cost of £4 per month
Fracture cover
Fracture cover provides the client with a cash lump sum if they suffer from one of 18 specified fractures.
Estate Administration
Aviva support clients who have had a bereavement by providing them with discounted fixed fee access to legal and probate services through MyDigiExecutor. Clients can chose the level of support they need to support them through this difficult process

Supporting the family of clients’ through a claim


  • All claimants are provided with a specific claim handler who will be their main contact throughout the claim
  • All claim handlers have been provided with medical training and specialist training from support groups
  • Claimants notifying Aviva of a claim via the phone will not be asked to complete a seperate claim form and therefore will only need to provide details once
  • Claimants are kept fully informed of the progress of their claim throughout the process
  • Death certificates would be obtained by Aviva and not requested from the claimant
  • Claimants are informed of all the additional services that may be available to them to help them at this difficult time.
