Protection Guru is going from strength to strength and despite COVID-19, we are busier than ever with more new initiatives coming online shortly. We’re looking for another protection geek to join our team, we are all kind of geeky, in a nice way. Protection Guru is a specialist information service providing a comprehensive analysis of Life Insurance, Critical Illness and Income Protection cover for personal and business protection. Our objective is to help advisers better understand the detail of protection and support them in giving advice to more people so we can all work together address the #ProtectionGap
You will have;
- At least three years’ experience as a paraplanner or adviser support role focusing on protection and mortgages.
- A precise eye for detail.
- A love for working with technology.
- Excellent numerical and grammatical skills.
- Be happy to help other advisers learn how to make the most out of the research and services we provide.
In a short period of time we will have you writing extensively; sharing your knowledge with advisers and helping make it easier for more advisers, including wealth managers and mortgage advisers who don’t always offer protection, to make it a core part of their business so we can help fill the protection gap.
As part of our team you will have a key role in helping insurers understand how they can improve their products and technology so they are better for consumers and advisers.
We now deliver our data into iPipeline Solution Builder enabling advisers to bring price and quality together on one page. We are now working with a wide range of other software companies to help them add our market leading research, which is significantly more robust and detailed than anything else out there, to a wide range of other systems including cash flow planning and practice management systems.
The successful applicant will, within a couple of years, become one of the most influential people in the UK life insurance industry, with an encyclopaedic knowledge of how to make protection better. You will also be examining life insurance products from around the world as part of our international expansion in 2021.
We work hard because we are passionate about what we do, but changing the (protection) world is fun too.
Salary? We will come up with the right package for the right person, plus the other benefits stuff like 5 weeks holiday (plus public holidays), Group IP cover, Private Medical and Annual Travel insurance plus other perks. We even give you software to keep all your personal passwords safe.
Location? Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have become adept at working from home so there are no geographical restrictions. We will supply you with the kit you require to do the job and the only thing we ask is that you are able to attend a team meeting in London once a week.
